CURRENT TEACHING SERIES
THE FATHER'S LOVE

Sundays, April 6 - May 11
Come and hear the story of the Prodigal Father as told in Luke 15. This story has often been studied from the perspective of the lost son, but in this sermon series we will look at the Father's love for his son. The dictionary defines prodigal as "wastefully or recklessly extravagant." This extravagance is truly how God's love is portrayed in this story. In this series will explore how this kind of extravagant love can transform our broken and wandering lives into ones that are whole and filled with purpose.

NEXT TEACHING SERIES GOOD NEWS ABOUT INJUSTICE
5.18.08 - 6.8.08

The title for the series comes from the book with the same title by Gary Haugen. There are many types of suffering in the world that are caused by injustice. According to the Bible, God hates injustice, and he has compassion on those that are affected by injustice. This series will seek to define what injustice is, what God thinks about, and how Christians are called to respond to injustice in the world.

URBAN MINISTRY CONFERENCE
6.12-6.14

Many more Vineyard churches are being planted in the urban centers. Most church planters have little knowledge or experience in cross cultural ministries and pastoring Diverse churches. The leadership of the Vineyard has realized that this must change, especially if we want to be a relevant church that is able and ready to join the move of God in our urban centers. This conference is specifically aimed at doing just that. It will help us understand the theology, the people, and the style of ministry that will be effective in this part of the world. To fulfill our call, we must begin to learn these things. This conference is one step in the right direction of fulfilling this call on our lives as Vineyard leaders, pastors, and participants."
