Our current teaching series is a study of the book of Romans.
We are learning about how the apostle Paul wrote to encourage
the people of the church and how Jesus' example was their
direction and help for life.

Community Connection meets at the Hyde Park Neighborhood
Club on 55th and Kenwood (5480 S Kenwood) on Saturday from
12-1 and is looking for volunteers to bring food and supplies
(plastic forks, napkins, etc) to our outreach. This is an
opportunity to be 100% devoted to others as we provide a
hot meal, friendship, and a Bible Study to people in our
community. We would love to have you eat, pray, study the
Bible, and love others with us! If you have questions or
want to be involved (e.g. by donating food), contact David

Valentine
Banquet

Side Young Life is sponsoring a Valentine Banquet Friday,
February 12, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. The banquet is being held
at Augustana Lutheran Church, located at 55th and South
Woodlawn Avenue. There is plenty of street parking. Tickets
are $30 per couple, $15 per single. All adults are welcome.
Come and hear about what God is doing in Young Life on the
south side of Chicago. We'll enjoy a meal together, a silent
auction, and give you and your guests an opportunity to
support Young Life ministry. So save the date!

LEADER SMALL GROUP
Do you feel called to lead people into God's presence in
worship? This new small group will seek to equip you with
the tools you need to lead worship effectively in a small
group. We will be meeting once a month to fellowship, read
a book together, receive teaching on worship and songwriting,
and pray together. We will meet Saturdays from 12 pm - 2

Are
you computer savy? Do you like when music "sounds great"?
Do you enjoy when the lyrics at the sunday morning service
are correctly spelled? The tech ministry welcomes you to
contribute your talents! We are learning to create that
safe atmosphere where people can more fully experience God
in worship on Sunday Morning.(VSM). We are currently forming
the schedule for the tech ministry through September, please

you have a heart to pray, we would love for you to step
forward and serve others in the church. Each Sunday before
Vineyard Sunday Morning at 8:00 AM, a group of people meet
to pray for the Sunday service and everyone who will attend.
